Mixed Media

Three layouts containing four polaroids each.

Fading; to gradually  grow faint and disappear.

When something gradually fades from ones life or memories, it begins to disappear at one point. But in reality, it never completely disappears. It simply fades, while leaving behind either a physical representation of it, or a hazy vision in ones mind. Even if “nothing” is left behind, nothing IS in fact something. Like an empty box is full of nothingness..the nogthingness has become something that fills the box. This art work explores the concept of fading, using a medium that itself fades after sometime, yet always leaving behind a psychical part of it. A Polaroid image fades over time, but it leaves behind its frame. A presence always remains.
